This list is comprised of songs released on Dot Records and its short-lived subsidiary labels Crystalette and Acta. Rankings are based on the popularity of each song during the period of 1951 through 1969.

Pat Boone leads all artists on the list with 28 hits, four of which are in the top ten. Billy Vaughn and The Hilltoppers share a distant runner-up spot with eight apiece. Gale Storm is next with six and The Fontane Sisters have four. Jim Lowe and The Griffin Brothers each appear three times. The mid-'50s were the strongest hitmaking period for the company; the years 1955 through 1958 account for more than half the total entries. Overall, 73 songs from the 1950s are on the list versus 27 from the 1960s.
