This list contains songs with one or more numbers in the title, in numerical form (such as 1, 2, 100, 1000) or spelled out (one, two, hundred, thousand, million). 1st, second, etc. are not included, nor are roman numerals or longer words that may partly spell out a number. Rankings are based on the popularity of each song during the period of 1950 through 1969.

One (1) is by far the most commonly-used number with 29 song titles on the list, three (3) is next with 12 examples and two (2) ranks third with ten; sixteen (16) is also a very popularly-used number, showing up six times. One title uses a decimal point ("98.6") and three telephone numbers are found ("Beechwood 4-5789," "634-5789" and the likely non-existent "Lonesome 7-7203"). Seven songs show up twice on the list: "The Three Bells," "Three Coins in the Fountain," "Dedicated to the One I Love," "Seventeen," "Love Potion No. 9," "One Mint Julep" and "Four Walls."

Nine artists have two entries apiece on the list: Elvis Presley, The Vogues, The Ventures, Mary Wells, Wilson Pickett, The Clovers, Marvin Gaye, Pat Boone and Fats Domino. In addition, there are six groups with number-title hits that also have a number in their name: Three Dog Night, The Four Aces, The Four Preps, The 4 Seasons, Four Tops and 1910 Fruitgum Company.
